Chrissie

Female
Domestic shorthair
Black-and-white
~6 months old

Chrissie is a fun, energetic kitten with a big personality! Her foster family lovingly calls her a “dog-cat” because she loves following her humans around. She’s always curious about what everyone’s up to and is eager to be part of the action. Chrissie is playful and will turn just about anything into a toy, but her favourites include wool socks, spring toys, pompoms, and her ultimate foe: the red dot. After playtime, she’s all about cuddles, happily purring away in your lap. She gets along wonderfully with other cats and would thrive in a home where she has both feline friends and humans to hang out with.

At bedtime, you’ll likely find her curled up peacefully at your feet. Quiet and low-energy, Annabelle is more of an observer than a player, content to watch the world go by with calm curiosity. With her luxurious, fluffy coat, she will need regular brushing to stay mat-free and looking fabulous. And yes, she does shed a fair bit, so you may want to keep a lint roller nearby!

Tuxedo
~5 years old

Yarbo is a distinguished tuxedo cat whose debonair appearance is matched by his affectionate and playful personality. The epitome of a feline gentleman, this handsome, cuddly, friendly, and frisky guy is patiently waiting for a loving family to call his own. Yarbo may take a moment to adjust to new surroundings, but once he feels at home, his playful emerges. He loves the excitement of the chase—whether it’s pouncing on toy mice or enjoying friendly tussles with his feline friends. After a round of play, he’s all about snuggles and will seek out your lap for a quiet petting session. Yarbo is looking for a patient and loving home where he can relax, play, and show just how much love an FIV+ cat has to offer. His gentle, resilient nature makes him a truly special companion. He would thrive in a peaceful environment and would love to have a fellow gentle cat, like his friends Gracie and Anise, to share his space. With his loving heart and joyful spirit, Yarbo is ready to become a loyal and cherished member of a compassionate family.

With time, patience, and love, Gracie has learned to trust and is now a playful, affectionate girl who loves head scratches, belly rubs, and curling up on the couch for cuddles. She has become good friends with Yarbo, and they enjoy each other's company. Gracie is toothless after a full mouth extraction and is on a wet food-only diet. She is also FIV+. She’s looking for a calm, loving home where she can continue to thrive. It would be wonderful if she could be adopted with Yarbo, but she’d also do well in a quiet, patient home of her own.

Anise is also a big fan of treats and will eagerly hop into your lap for them, sticking around for love afterwards. She has become great friends with Yarbo and enjoys snuggling with him and her humans at bedtime. Though she was initially shy, Anise has made great progress since being rescued. She may be a little shy about being picked up, but offer her gentle pets and some chin scratches, and she’ll melt like butter in your hands. Jessica enjoys the company of her sister, Veronica, so we would love to see them adopted together. They move through life like a synchronized duo, often walking side by side or curling up in peaceful slumber together.

She adores being pet and will lean in for chin scritches with the most endearing trust. Veronica may not love being carried around, but she’ll happily stay close by. She is often found nestled right beside her sister, Jessica, so we’d love to see this pair adopted together. Veronica is not a fan of loud noises or hectic energy—she and Jessica both find peace in quieter, calmer spaces.

Cuddles (pending)

Female
Domestic shorthair
Tortie
~4.5 years old

True to her name, Cuddles is a total lovebug who craves constant attention and physical affection. She doesn’t just want to be near you—she wants to be on you. She’ll politely paw at your legs to be picked up, and once she’s on your shoulders, good luck getting her off—she’s like velcro, holding on like her life depends on it. She’s quite the talker and isn’t shy about telling you know when she wants attention (which is, let’s be honest, pretty much all the time). At night, she’s the ultimate snuggle buddy, happily sprawled out on your chest with her paw wrapped around your shoulder in the sweetest little hug. She’ll nuzzle into your neck and, if you’re not careful, sneak in some face licks too. Cuddles is looking for a family with a LOT of love to give and who won’t mind a bit (okay, a lot) of personal space invasion.

Trixie

Female
Domestic shorthair
Brown tabby-on-white
~3.5 years old

Trixie is a gentle soul who's still finding her confidence. While she’s a bit cautious about being touched, she’s slowly warming up to human affection. Trixie is a total sucker for tube treats and is beginning to associate people with all the good stuff! Trixie would do best in a calm, patient home—ideally with another friendly cat to help her feel safe and become more confident. In the past, Trixie has formed a sweet bond with another kitty, often following her around or snoozing on top of her. When her friend received pets, Trixie would sit nearby, watching with curiosity and softly purring. She may be a bit reserved right now, but beneath that shy exterior is a truly loving cat just waiting to bloom. Her foster is completely smitten—and we think you will be, too.

Father Cat (lovingly known as Fat Cat) is a charming, vocal gentleman who loves attention and isn't shy about asking for it. Despite a rough past, he’s always ready to greet you with a meow and lean in for pets. Though his name might suggest otherwise, Fat Cat is on a new path towards better health, working alongside Baby Cat to shed some extra pounds. His hobbies include lounging majestically, melting into your lap like butter, and gently judging your life choices with the sweetest gaze. Oliver has the spirit of a playful kitten and the laidback vibes of a professional napper. If you’re looking for a companion who’s as affectionate as he is fluffy, Oliver just might be your purrfect match. To keep him feeling his best, Oliver will need to stay on a special urinary diet.

Raivyn

Female
Domestic shorthair
Black-and-white

She can be shy at first and takes time to warm up in new environments, but once she settles in, her fun, energetic side shines through, zooming around the house and playing with toys or her feline friend, Cheeto. Raivyn thrives in a calm, predictable home. She doesn't do well with young children and would be happiest in a home without toddlers or very energetic kids. Older, respectful children (like her foster's 8-year-old) seem to be fine. She's a great companion for someone who understands cat boundaries and is willing to give her the space and time she needs to feel at home.

She will politely meow to ask for your attention, eagerly rubbing up against furniture (and you!) while she waits. Head scratches are her absolute favourite, but she’s more than happy with full-body pets, too. If you’re looking for a quiet, affectionate cat who values closeness and connection without being overly demanding, Melon might be your purrfect match.

The Adoption Process

Step 1: Meet the cats
Each cat's personality is unique and may differ from the bios provided. We offer a comfortable, home-like environment for folks to spend quality time with their potential new furriend(s). For the cats' best interest, it is mandatory to meet them prior to submitting an adoption application.

Step 2: Ask for an adoption application form
Once you have met the cats and fallen in love, ask an associate or volunteer for an application form. We work with multiple rescues, and each have their own forms. It's important to let us know which cat(s) you'd like to apply for so we can provide you with the correct paperwork. Adoption application forms may be filled out on-the-spot, or taken home and submitted later.

Step 3: Check your inbox
Adoption applications are passed along to the appropriate rescue for processing. If they plan to move forward with your application, they will reach out to you directly via email or text. Please ensure the email address and phone number on your application form are legible, and check your junk folder regularly. Adoption approval is based on the best match for the cat(s), and not first-come-first-served.

Step 4: Be prepared
Prepare photos and/or videos of your home (in place of a home visit), as well as a letter from your landlord or strata (if applicable) detailing your pet policy.

Step 5: Sign the contract
If your application has been approved, the rescue will send you an adoption contract to sign and return to them.

Step 6: Submit payment
Adoption fees are to be submitted directly to the appropriate rescue via e-transfer. Adoption fees paid in store will be subject to a processing fee.

Step 7: Schedule a pickup
Once all paperwork is complete and the adoption fee has been paid, the rescue will send an official adoption confirmation email. Then (and only then) we can schedule a date and time for you to pick up your new furriend(s)! Please keep in mind that pickups are limited to certain hours, and we will only schedule a certain number of pickups per day/time slot. Unscheduled cat pickups will not be accommodated. Adopted cats cannot be held for more than 7 days.

Adoption Fees

The adoption fees are as follows:

  • $300 for 1 cat over 6 months old or $500 for 2 cats over 6 months old
  • $400 for 1 kitten under 6 months old or $600 for 2 kittens under 6 months old

Each cat is/has:

  • Spayed/neutered
  • Microchipped or tattooed
  • SNAP tested for FIV and FeLV
  • Up to date on all vaccines
  • Dewormed
  • Defleaed
  • Been treated for any known illnesses, infections, or injuries
  • Received a recent, comprehensive vet exam
  • A free 6-week trial of pet insurance (excluding Catspan)

The entire adoption fee goes directly to the rescue to continue supporting this valuable initiative. We are partnered with various rescues in BC and Saskatchewan, and it is our goal to find responsible, loving homes for each and every adoptable cat.
