Rion
Male
Domestic shorthair
Brown tabby-on-white
~1 year old
Rion is social, vocal, and affectionate. If you're handing out pets, expect him to be first in line every single time. Convinced every lap belongs to him, he has no problem politely (or not-so-politely) demanding your attention when the mood strikes (which is often).
Endlessly cuddly, Rion loves climbing right into your lap to join you for a cozy reading session, happily rolling around to make sure you know he's fully invested in both the book and stealing your attention.
Loud, lovable, and bursting with personality, this sweet guy is sure to fill your heart and home with love.

Adoptable from foster home:
The following cats are located in foster homes. Contact us to schedule a meeting with them.

Betty
Female
Domestic shorthair
Black-and-white
~2.5 years old
Betty is a smart, independent kitty who values her personal boundaries and will let you know when she’s feeling unsure or needs some space. She appreciates cozy cave beds, quiet corners, and high window perches where she can keep an eye on the world (and everyone in it).
While she's not the cuddly type (yet), Betty is full of purrsonality and has plenty of playful energy. She enjoys batting around foam soccer ball toys and is motivated by wet food, which helps encourage her to explore and engage at her own pace.
Betty will do best in a calm, cat-savvy home where she can settle in gradually and be appreciated for her quiet, independent purrsonality.

Java
Female
Domestic shorthair
Black
~5 years old
Java is a darling girl whose sweet purrsonality shines with time.
Initially cautious and unsure, it took a few weeks for Java to warm up to the people and other cats in her foster home. With a weakness for soft pate food, a little bribery has been key in helping her build trust.
Now that she has begun to relax, Java has been making steady progress. As her confidence grows, so does her affectionate nature. She also enjoys playing with toys, though sudden movements during interactive play can still startle her.
At her core, Java is full of love and potential. With a slow, gentle approach and calm environment, she will continue to blossom into the loyal companion hidden beneath her shy exterior. Java's future family will be rewarded with the joy of watching her true purrsonality come to life.

Simba (adoption pending)
Male
Domestic longhair
Dilute orange tabby
~2 years old
Simba is a sweet boy who loves both giving and receiving affection once he knows you. He likes tummy rubs (that's right—that fluffy tummy is NOT a trap!) and will gently lick and nibble your fingers—like little kitty kisses.
Simba shares a deep bond with Joey, and the two can often be found snuggled together in a cozy cave bed. They both also enjoy sitting in the window, quietly watching the world go by.
Though shy at first, Simba is more curious than his best friend, Joey, and is often the first to cautiously explore new spaces as he becomes more comfortable. He wants so badly to be brave and has been making steady progress in his foster home, where he has been exposed to calm, cat-savvy dogs and children.
Watching Simba build confidence and begin to share his love is incredibly rewarding. With patience, respect, and a quieter environment, there's no doubt that he'll continue to blossom in his furever home.

Joey (adoption pending)
Male
Domestic shorthair
Grey tabby-on-white
~3.5 years old
Joey is a gentle sweetheart whose trust requires a little bit of time and patience to earn, but is sooo worth it!
As he begins to feel safe, Joey's affectionate side emerges more and more. He absolutely loves being pet, leaning in to face scratches and showing off his adorable "elevator butt." While he may prefer being approached in his safe space at first, squeeze tube treats are an easy way to entice him out farther. Once comfortable, he'll greet you with the cutest little meow every time you enter the room.
Naturally shy and cautious in new situations, Joey finds comfort in cozy cave beds, sunny windowsills, and, most importantly, his bonded friend, Simba. Whether they're snuggling together or bird-watching, the two are almost always side by side.
Joey has been making wonderful progress in his foster home, where he has been exposed to calm, cat-savvy dogs and children. In a quieter home with patient people, this chubby-cheeked boy's loving purrsonality will continue to blossom.

Frost
Male
Domestic shorthair
Black w/ white patch
~2.5 years old
Frost is a gentle soul with a quiet nature. He prefers taking his time getting to know new people, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his sweet purrsonality truly begins to shine.
After earning his trust, Frost will happily seek you out for attention, weaving around your feet and leaning into pets. He'll even give polite head bumps to ask for more. His love is soft, steady, and incredibly rewarding for those willing to give him a chance.
Frost was rescued at just 6 weeks old alongside his mom and 6 siblings. While the rest of his family has long since found homes of their own, Frost is still patiently waiting for someone to see the wonderful companion he is. Having spent over two years in care, he would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace.

Black-and-white
~2.5 years old
Hidden beneath Lily's shy exterior is a gentle sweetheart just waiting for a furever home where she can truly blossom.
While she may be a little timid at first and require you to make the first move, Lily can't hide how much she enjoys affection—the "elevator butt" completely blows her tough-girl cover. As she grows more comfortable, she even begins approaching on her own for pets.
Lily would thrive in a calm, quiet home with patient people who will give her the time and encouragement she needs to continue building confidence and showing her sweet personality.

Slim Shady
Male
Domestic longhair
Black
~5 years old
Slim Shady is 18lbs of fluffy devotion wrapped up in one very handsome cat. Loyal like no other, this sweet boy firmly believes that your personal space isn’t complete without him in it and no activity should ever be done alone. Washing dishes? He'll keep your feet warm and dry. Working from home? So is he. Bathroom break? Don't worry—he'll accompany you. Wherever you are, Slim Shady wants to be right there with you, ensuring you never feel lonely.
Affectionate doesn't even begin to describe this guy. Slim Shady loves showering his people with gentle headbutts, kisses, and cuddles throughout the day. At night, he'll happily curl up on your chest, taking your breath away—literally! A true cuddlebug, he wants nothing more than to be close to his humans, wrapped up in their arms.
With all that luxurious fluff, Slim Shady does need a little help grooming those hard-to-reach spots, but, thankfully, he enjoys being brushed and will gladly soak up the extra attention.
Slim Shady is the purrfect match for someone looking for a feline shadow and constant companion.

The Adoption Process
Step 1: Meet the cats
Each cat's personality is unique and may differ from the bios provided. We offer a comfortable, home-like environment for folks to spend quality time with their potential new furriend(s). For the cats' best interest, it is mandatory to meet them prior to submitting an adoption application.
Step 2: Ask for an adoption application form
Once you have met the cats and fallen in love, ask an associate or volunteer for an application form. We work with multiple rescues, and each have their own forms. It's important to let us know which cat(s) you'd like to apply for so we can provide you with the correct paperwork. Adoption application forms may be filled out on-the-spot, or taken home and submitted later.
Step 3: Check your inbox
Adoption applications are passed along to the appropriate rescue for processing. If they plan to move forward with your application, they will reach out to you directly via email or text. Please ensure the email address and phone number on your application form are legible, and check your junk folder regularly. Adoption approval is based on the best match for the cat(s), and not first-come-first-served.
Step 4: Be prepared
Prepare photos and/or videos of your home (in place of a home visit), as well as a letter from your landlord or strata (if applicable) detailing your pet policy.
Step 5: Sign the contract
If your application has been approved, the rescue will send you an adoption contract to sign and return to them.
Step 6: Submit payment
Adoption fees are to be submitted directly to the appropriate rescue via e-transfer. Adoption fees paid in store will be subject to a processing fee.
Step 7: Schedule a pickup
Once all paperwork is complete and the adoption fee has been paid, the rescue will send an official adoption confirmation email. Then (and only then) we can schedule a date and time for you to pick up your new furriend(s)! Please keep in mind that pickups are limited to certain hours, and we will only schedule a certain number of pickups per day/time slot. Unscheduled cat pickups will not be accommodated. Adopted cats cannot be held for more than 7 days.
Adoption Fees
The adoption fees are as follows:
- $350 for 1 cat over 6 months old or $600 for 2 cats over 6 months old
- $450 for 1 kitten 6 months old and under or $700 for 2 kittens 6 months old and under
Each cat is/has:
- Spayed/neutered
- Microchipped or tattooed
- SNAP tested for FIV and FeLV
- Up to date on all vaccines (FVRCP, rabies)
- Dewormed
- Defleaed
- Been treated for any known illnesses, infections, or injuries
- Received a recent, comprehensive vet exam
- A free 6-week trial of pet insurance (excluding BNR)
The entire adoption fee goes directly to the rescue to continue supporting this valuable initiative. We are partnered with various rescues in BC and Saskatchewan, and it is our goal to find responsible, loving homes for each and every adoptable cat.
