I looked at several fountains as I had one before but was looking for one that was tamper proof; one of my cats liked to use her paws to pull my old one apart. This is the best design I've seen so far with it being pretty tamper proof; it's two pieces and snaps together, the only part that can be pulled out is the spout to change the filter. Also like that it's dishwasher safe as well so it can be cleaned and sterlized in the dishwasher when it becomes dirty! This would be great for cats or small dogs! It was a special order and was in the shop for pickup within a week which was great, thanks!
